The Multiagent Optimization System (MAOS) is an open source framework supporting mini multiagent optimizers or mini swarm algorithms for solving various numerical optimization and combinatorial optimization problems. Each optimization algorithm is simply driven by a Command Line, which calls Common Parameters and Scripts manipulating on some basic and macro Search Components. some fast-and-frugal components have already been implemented and new components can be easily incorporated into the system by users.

In summary, MAOS Algorithms for various Optimization Problems = MAOS Framework + Knowledge Components + Scripts + Command Line Parameters.

MAOS is organized as one shared Kernel + implementations of problems in different representation spaces. The following table lists all existing space types and related optimization problems.
Space Continuous Space Binary Space Interger Space Permutation Space
Problem Numerical Optimization Problem (NOP) Quadratic Knapsack Problem (QKP) Graph Coloring Problem (GCP) Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP)
